About the role: We are on the lookout for an experienced, passionate and self-motivated Solution Designer to join one of Australia's leading financial institutions. The bank has launched its major multi-million dollar tech simplification which will take place over the next 3 years. The opportunity sits within a brand new program delivery team, you will play an integral role in the development of the solution designs that will be used for the uplift and streamlining of the bank's deposits and transactions platform. Day to day you will Work closely with the architects to convert project requirements into robust architectures and intricate solution designs. Articulate comprehensive solution approaches to the delivery squad, guaranteeing that project deliveries align seamlessly with the predefined solution design. Providing crucial technical guidance to the CX team, you will empower them to deliver the best customer service. Define interface contracts for various channels and ensuring their seamless functionality. Vigilance around downstream impacts, proactively identify and address potential challenges. We are looking for the following skills and experience 10 years of technical expertise, with hands on experience in software development and technologies, hardware, networks and applications. Previous banking and finance experience is preferred (deposits and/or transactions experience being a major plus) Development and deployment experience on more than one platform. Experience working in an agile environment Confident communicator with stakeholders and Enterprise Architects Someone who is actively keeping up to date with technology trends and changes The role is Gold Coast based, and the ideal candidate will go into the office 1-2 days a week.
