We are seeking a dynamic Retail Project Manager, on a full-time basis ideally based in Canning Vale but will oversee WA and SA, who can drive the fit-out of new and refurbished Metcash stores through the coordination of the state team, retailers and suppliers. What you’ll do Act as the client-side project manager, ensuring that the Principal Contractor delivers on time, cost and quality for new and refurbishment projects. Guide and advise the retailer, and state team, through all the fit-out activities so that informed decisions can be made along the critical path. When not working on significant projects, you’ll coordinate and assist with equipment requirements for retailers within our trading network. Provide leadership by directing, supporting, empowering, encouraging, recognizing and rewarding results achieved across the project team. What you’ll bring Must have previous project management experience, preferably within a similar role. Experience in supermarket fit-outs with refrigeration would be advantageous. Experience in retail equipment and the supplier network. Networking and brand building should be second nature Ability to interpret store plans.
