As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of their food warehouse facility. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, optimizing warehouse layout, and leading a team to achieve operational efficiency. Description Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of food products. Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and workflow efficiency. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and company policies to uphold product quality and integrity. Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to maintain a high-performance team focused on achieving operational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and production, to coordinate inventory needs and fulfillment. Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and best practices to create a safe work environment for all warehouse personnel. Analyze warehouse performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate smooth inbound and outbound logistics processes. Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational KPIs for management review. Profile Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in warehouse management within the food industry or a similar fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA) and experience implementing and maintaining compliance standards. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse warehouse team. Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic work environment.
