Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and hands on State Sales Manager to join their team and drive the sales strategy for Victorian business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team, cultivating key client relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. This role would be an exciting career opportunity for a seasoned sales professional in the transport industry who is ready to take the next step into leadership or equally seasoned hands-on sales manager who still enjoys still be at the coal face. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth within the assigned state. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key clients and partners. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making. Provide regular sales performance reports and contribute to the development of sales forecasts Key skills & experience required: A senior business development manager who is ready to take the next step into leadership or a qualified hands-on sales manager in the Transport industry. Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing sales teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
