About the role: The FIS Australasia Technology team is made up of 60 people based in Melbourne, Sydney, Manila and India. This role sits within the Infrastructure team and requires working within a dynamic environment that is growing fast. The team are involved in the deployment and running of new technology stacks and maintaining our server infrastructure, networks, cloud connectivity and ensuring we can deliver for our customer’s needs. What you will be doing: Installing, configuring, implementing and maintaining systems Working on large, complex systems that require skill in multiple technical environments Monitoring usage and tuning systems for optimum performance Providing technical analysis, problem resolution and proposing solutions Visiting data centres for maintenance and resolution of storage issues Implement system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system Maintaining a stable and secure systems environment Management of SSL/TLS Certificates associated with a Certificate Authority. Assist in deployment of releases Out of hours work will be required for changes/upgrades and for being part of an on-call rotation to take escalations from the Level 1 on call team. What you bring: Must have sound previous hands-on experience on Red Hat Linux / System Administration and Data centre operations (Dell server terminologies) Experience with VMware virtualization, Nutanix HCI, NetApp and other storage technologies (AFF300, AFF400 etc) Sound knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), Networking (CISCO 9000 series switches), Microsoft Windows server & Ansible/PowerShell automation Management of SSL/TLS Certificates. Experience with public key infrastructure (PKI) and experience with certificate life cycle management, such as Venafi Scripting (Perl/Bourne) Knowledge of TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools and technical writing principles and practices IT security conceptual knowledge and hands on experience with remediating vulnerabilities Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills Ability to work independently as well as within a team A bonus if you have experience in the following areas: Splunk administration, Monitoring, and backup tools (Nagios, Veritas, Rubrik etc) What we offer you: Work from home arrangement and a flexible, supportive team environment Great benefits including medical and personal insurances and employee share scheme An opportunity to work with leading technology and play an integral part in the Fintech industry Please note applications will be reviewed and responded to after 10 January 2024.
