About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team at Rio Tinto, based at 7 Mile, Dampier. The successful candidate will work on a 5/2, 4/3 roster FIFO from Perth, based on site. This role will be for 6 month period and have potential for extension. Responsibilities and Duties: Supporting the maintenance execution team in maintenance of mobile rail-mounted maintenance equipment by collaborating with other engineers and technicians to ensure that these machines operate in line with the customers needs, requirements, and safety standards. This is achieved by performing quality checks, performance analysis, monitoring maintenance activities, inspection plans and reporting on those results. Minor engineering projects will need to be managed by specifying equipment, designing system processes and assisting in preparing budgets. Skills & Experience Required: Experience in electrical industry Experience on mobile equipment, programming capability.
