About the roleReporting into the Head of Technology you will be responsible for the technology components and architecture to support the business as it transitions from foundation into its growth phase. An exciting opportunity to step into a role and make it your own This role can be supported from Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.This role will see you partner with external partners as well as working with the business and technology senior leadership team to bring to life and develop strategies to support the growth of the business. You'll also:• Define, manage and govern the foundation of the engineering practice to include: vision, strategy and roadmap, architectural principles, standards and tools• Accountable for the engineering practices that support varied technology and digital programs• Establish, manage and develop strategic partnerships with external vendors• Drive consistency in the engineering execution and quality assurance that aid in the agile ways of working• Provide technology thought leadership and guidance About you and your skillsIn this new role you will have the opportunity plan, partner with external providers and work directly with senior leaders across the business. This role will require you to roll your sleeves up and manage multiple aspects and will leverage your proven technology and digital experience. With great exposure to senior stakeholders this role will all benefit from your demonstrated stakeholder management and influencing skills. You will also have: • Proven experience in areas such as software development, engineering delivery of solution architecture across digital and technology• Solid understanding of agile/scrum development methodologies and software development lifecycle principles• Demonstrated working knowledge of cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP and Azure cloud environments• Solid experience in the management of department and project budgets with excellent analytical and problem solving skills Please note that applications for this role will close on the 16th November.
