What you will be doing: As a Database Administrator at FIS you will be providing database support services to our application teams and Technology Services Group operations teams. You will also: Work with other departmental SME to implement best database solution for new functionality and on-going environments. Act as Oracle database SME and primary contact Documenting and employing consistent build and deployment process to facilitate build process, adding automation were possible. Reviewing functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements. Reviewing and enhancing system wide monitoring and alerting using OEM. Participating in system wide Exadata and OEM patching. Working on large, complex systems that require skill in multiple technical environments. Providing technical analysis, problem resolution and proposing solutions Identifying and automating manual tasks using scripting or application development. Management of SSL/TLS Certificates associated with a Certificate Authority Out of hours work may be required for changes/upgrades and for being part of an on-call rotation to take escalations from the Level 1 on call team. What you Bring A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience on Oracle Administration Significant experience with GoldenGate, Dataguard and Rman. Skilled level in SQL, PLSQL and Shell scripting. Strong experience with OEM and database performance tuning. IT security conceptual knowledge and hands on experience with remediating vulnerabilities. Effective analytical, problem solving, installation and maintenance skills. Change peer/technical review, Problem investigation, project design, delivery, and documentation Ability to work independently as well as within a team. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Added Bonus if you Have: Ansible MSSQL advanced skillset is very desirable.
