Mining Engineer NRW Pty Ltd | Regional WA Closing date: 31/01/2024 NRW Civil and Mining have successfully secured the Mt Cattlin Lithium Project which is located approx. 5 kilometres from the town of Ravensthorpe in WA's Southern Goldfields-Esperance region. This Project has recently commenced and has a duration of 3 years, with the possibility of an extension. Due to this award; we are actively recruiting for an experienced Mining Engineer to join the team and assist in the delivery of our newest Project. To be considered for the position; you must possess the following as a minimum: Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) or relevant tertiary qualifications Relevant experience in an operational engineering role on a production mine site Strengths in planning, scheduling, budgets, and cost control Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with Vulcan and Wencolite will be looked at favourably Current Australian Driver's Licence and Police Clearance Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for: All aspects of engineering work including mine planning, design and scheduling Delivering safe and optimal short-term planning/scheduling Prepare end of month claims and reports as required Liaising with operation teams to ensure production targets are met Contributing to continuous improvement projects Promotion of mine health, safety, and environmental policies What can we offer you?
