Consultant Emergency Physician – Fixed-term Part-time - Long Service Leave Cover This is an opportunity to join the highly successful RMH ED Senior Medical Staff team and to take part in shaping the future of this important department. The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient, and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology, and virtual health. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join the team in our high volume, high acuity major trauma service ED. This Emergency Physician position is permanent part-time and based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus in Parkville. The position involves working in all areas of the RMH ED including Trauma and Resuscitation areas, Short Stay, ED Mental Health and AOD Hub, Emergency Physician-in-Charge and Doctor-at-Triage roles.
