The role Sandvik is looking for a proactive and self-motivated Sales Manager to join our dynamic and expanding team in Perth, WA. As the Sales Manager you will focus on delivering market growth for the Sandvik range of Surface Drills within Western Australia. You will also be responsible for developing strategic sales case plans and an effective sales team to meet the required revenue targets for the Sales Area. This role is a full-time requirement, however Sandvik recognises the desire for flexible working options. Areas of responsibility Lead a team of Sales Professionals to grow the Surface Drills business in Western Australia. Meet revenue targets through direct personal customer management and the development of a high-performance sales team. Assist with the development and management of sales budgets. Create and execute sales strategies for Surface Drills. Support the development of infrastructure necessary to support the Surface Drills fleet. Undertake product application process support from initial conceptualization of solution to delivery of operational outcome. Manage all resources in the market area to ensure an optimum balance between a high level of customer service satisfaction and attainment of financial objectives. Assess technical issues with all Australia supplied equipment and prepare/submit quotations for rectification. Work with service and parts teams to coordinate equipment delivery processes. Your profile To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in a similar position and within the mining industry. You will possess technical sales management experience with a proven track record of closing deals. You will also have a thorough understanding of mining operations in addition to the below: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate others to achieve outcomes. Consultative selling style with the ability to promote customer solutions. Ability to assess and manage business risk. Ability to travel within Australia as required. Agencies need not apply.
