A permanent part-time (band 1 - average 21.25 hours per week) opportunity has become available as a Receptionist and Reservations Clerk at Country Club Tasmania. As a Receptionist and Reservations Clerk, you will be assisting guests with an array of enquiries such as check ins/outs, hotel reservations (rooms & restaurants), ticket sales, housekeeping requests, switchboard operations plus much more. This role will suit a person who thrives in a busy and fast paced environment. Our preferred candidate will have: Relevant Front Office experience in a large hotel or resort environment. The ability to effectively assist with guest arrivals, departures in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Proven ability to be a dedicated member of a team. Alignment with the Federal Group Principles. Exceptional communication skills and high standard of personal presentation. A passion for the hospitality industry. The ability to work in a fast paced, and high-pressured environment. Confidence in communicating with a variety of key stakeholders. A flexible approach to working shift work, including early morning starts and late-night finishes, across a seven-day roster. An interest in working Night Audit shifts, as required, would be advantageous. Strong computer skills and ideally knowledge in the RMS reservations system or similar.
