We currently have an opportunity for a motivated and talented Graduate Controls Engineer to join our Engineering Group based in Sydney. This position plays a leading role in the deployment of electrical control systems. This includes design, documentation, testing and commissioning of materials handling automation hardware and PLC software. The position also provides substantial opportunities to travel across a number of our customer locations in order to fulfil the work requirements. Key responsibilities of the position include: - Development of functional specifications - Conformance to OHS&E standards in the design and execution of all work - Preparation of electrical schematic drawings, PLC programs and configuration of operator interfaces - Preparation of manufacturing and installation specifications - Planning and supervision of major controls installations - Managing the procurement of parts, the manufacture of cabinets and the electrical installation - Controls project cost control - Testing and commissioning on customer sites - Preparation of test plans and operator & technical manuals - Training of client personnel and providing customer support - Handing over projects to our Customer Service team What we offer: Career Development We are here to support you for the entirety of your Dematic career.
