Help us make energy better About the role: The Retail Analyst supports the network assurance framework in the operations assurance team through ensuring compliance, maximise revenue and reduce costs. Reporting into the Network Assurance Manager, this role will primarily validate and analyse billing and network data to a high degree of accuracy and in a robust and efficient manner. In this role, you’ll be: Using the Network Assurance tools and systems to reconcile network costs and identify revenue opportunities. Continually reviewing and optimizing existing processes and systems to maximise revenue and minimise cost Working closely with the Operations, Commercial and Finance teams to share insights and improve performance and margin Documenting all processes in Promapp and continually review to update and enhance Ensuring deliverables meet the expectations of stakeholders with respect to presentation, timeliness, quality and consistency Ideally, you’ll bring to the role: Demonstrable experience in a similar role such as Revenue Assurance, Business Improvement, Settlements Analyst, Network Analyst, Billing Specialist, Reconciliation Analyst or Data Analyst Hands-on experience using SQL, Excel and analytics tools in a professional environment Relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, economics, mathematics or other relevant numeric discipline Experience in performing settlements or transactional function and ability to analyse and interpret results and identify key issues Experience in the Australian Gas and Electricity Markets is preferred This role would be best suited to someone who is both technically minded with the willingness to learn and work as a team, building robust relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business.
