About the Role Join our team as a Reliability Engineer - Component Rebuilds and Machine Overhauls are a crucial part of our Operations Services Maintenance Function. Drive maintenance performance, defect elimination, and continuous improvement in our dynamic working environment across a truly national footprint. Key Responsibilities: Analyse condition monitoring data and initiate design improvements. Support the development of operating standards, procedures, and work instructions. Assess the life of plant equipment, determine equipment capability, and optimise maintenance activities. Implement statutory and company safety requirements. Lead proactive root cause analysis using a Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) methodology. Provide insights into machine rebuilds, component overhauls, and manage deliveries to meet organisational requirements. Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade and industry experience. Current or previous experience in mining or heavy industry maintenance environment. Knowledge of defect elimination, root cause analysis, and developing maintenance strategies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exposure to cost reduction strategies, financial acumen, and experience with SAP and Asset Management Software (GE APM) is advantageous. Effective leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. About You As a successful candidate, you'll be an effective leader with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build relationships across departments, and you thrive in ambiguous environments. Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade and industry experience is a must.
