Administration Research Assistant - Neuro-Intervention The Royal Melbourne Hospital Part Time, 32 hours per fortnight Provide administrative support to Research team Join the Neuro-intervention Service within the Department of Radiology. The Royal Melbourne Hospital Department of Imaging provides general and subspecialty Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging Services to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, City and Royal Park Campuses and to Melbourne Private Hospital and has links with co-located precinct partners The Royal Women’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the University of Melbourne Department of Radiology. As well as a busy clinical workload, the Department offers opportunities for teaching of Radiology registrars and medical students, and is actively involved in numerous areas of research. Your new role: Provide varied administrative support to the Neurointervention Service, Department of Radiology Maintain an electronic and hardcopy filing system and clinical database Assist in effective communication through liaison and the provision of information and advice to stakeholders Word processing, correspondence drafting and advice to staff Record management About You: Demonstrated organisational proficiency and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and administration skills Demonstrated confidentiality and data processing Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively and courteously with contact at all levels Well-developed analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to undertake projects and prepare reports Well-developed IT skills including: word processing and PowerPoint, spreadsheets, database management, and internal and external systems.
