Due to exciting developments within the services we are now recruting for new roles Room Leader/Lead Educator Sustainability – Paddock to Plate – RIE & Risky Play Orchard Early Learning Centre Kirrawee offers a fresh approach to early learning, drawing on the natural environment to inspire children to become discoverers, learners, and thinkers – holistically preparing them for a life of learning and wellbeing. The Centre operates from 6.30am - 6.30pm, and is split across two distinct floors, nursery, and preschool with designated areas for play and learning, a state-of-the-art designed building, and fantastic staff support. We are located a short walk from Kirrawee train station and opposite South Village on Oak Road in Kirrawee. We are recruiting for the following leadership roles for Kirrawee: Nursery Room Leader Role Preschool Room Leader Role Flexible work arrangements can be agreed upon for the right candidate this includes full time flexible or part time flexible for the right candidate. What we expect from our Room Leaders: Previous experience as room leader Excellent understanding of current early childhood practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework Understanding of current pedagogical thinking and research Demonstrated theoretical and practical knowledge of child development and play Experience in guiding children’s behaviours Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skill, including documentation skills Understanding of the development of children, their health, hygiene, and nutritional needs Commitment and skill in providing quality and appropriate experiences and inviting learning environments for children Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the implications for centres About our Service: Magda Gerber’s RIE philosophy is a fundamental component of how we approach our day and learning with our under 3’s community.
