About the role As the successful applicant, you will coordinate a small, centralised sales team whilst also being directly involved in the network delivery of membership administration, sales and services at Swim Sport & Leisure with a customer-centric focus. You will take responsibility for the planning, reporting and implementation of effective sales and administration systems and processes across the network. You will also assist the Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience Manager to develop a strong sales culture and processes amongst all staff that supports the Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience Strategies. Work type: Permanent full-time Classification: Band 6 ($90,263 - $97,365) plus super Key responsibilities include: To provide leadership in the development, coordination and evaluation of Sales conversion and administration activities undertaken across the network. To support key department projects including managing point-of-sale systems, customer feedback tools and annual fees and charges reviews. Assist in the development of Sales and Membership Retention Strategies including the training delivery of processes and procedures. To provide administrative support to Swim Sport and Leisure staff with tasks relating to Sales activities. To take an active role in membership recruitment including but not limited to contacting prospective members, recently expired members and potential corporate memberships. To lead, manage and develop the corporate membership model. To manage and mentor Membership Sales Officers, and to provide guidance to the Administration Team and Customer Service Coordinators through specialist group activity and training. To set and communicate both individual and team new membership sales target on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. To develop a strong referral base including the use of Marketing and Point-Of-Sale software. About you To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience or an interest in the leisure, sport or health industries with a background in marketing or sales leadership. Tertiary qualification relevant to sales, business, recreation service delivery or several years’ experience in a related field. Current Working With Children’s Check. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders. Previous experience in a sales or marketing driven role demonstrating systems and approaches to grow products or services. Demonstrated skills in collection and analysis of customer metrics and reporting to identify improvement focus areas. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in the provision of high-quality advice and recommendations to senior management, facilitation of workshops, engaging staff with process and data analysis as well as high-level report / writing capabilities.
