Your responsibilities will include managing and growing a highly talented sales team focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration. Your background in sales management will enable you to help your team of account managers and inside sales representatives with engagements from the CxO level, manage a sales pipeline and team with other AWS Sales Representatives, Solutions Architects and Partners within commercial Enterprise accounts. You will delight customers with your strategic approach to business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions while working cross-organizationally to build consensus. Key duties / responsibilities: - Ensure customer satisfaction - Lead and manage a team of account managers. - Develop and execute a short, medium and long term business plan. - Meet and exceed team sales targets. - Serve as a key member of the leadership team, in helping to define and deliver AWS overall strategy. - Accelerate customer adoption by identifying specific customer segments and industry verticals in the region to approach with a value proposition for using AWS. - Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts at the C-level. - Work closely with the Partner team to ensure that AWS is the partner's preferred cloud computing platform across all service lines. - Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports. - Possess the technical understanding to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Data & Analytics, Machine Learning, and more. - Prepare and give business strategies and reviews to the senior management team. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Perth, WA, AUS Basic Qualifications - 10 years experience in IT sales, business development or consulting, with 5 years managing sales teams. - Direct field and management experience working with enterprise accounts. - Demonstrable ability to lead teams in consistently exceeding quota and key performance metrics. - Technical understanding in the areas of cloud computing, web services and enterprise software. - Exceptional communications skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, engaging and influencing C-level executives. Preferred Qualifications - A technical background in computer science, or MIS a plus. - Confident and engaging presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences. - BA/BS degree preferred, Master or MBA a plus.
