The Role At Infin8care, our Cafe and Kitchen Assistants work as part of a team dedicated to providing meals / beverages which are nutritionally balanced, and freshly prepared in a safe and hygienic environment. In short, Cafe Assistants play a key role in meeting our residents’ and visitors' daily needs. Working closely with and supported by the Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring food is prepared / delivered in a professional manner and that the nutritional requirements of all residents are met. In addition, you will ensure that food is stored in a safe, hygienic environment and rotated to ensure use within their time limits. Further tasks included are cleaning of servery area, kitchen, cafe dining area and cleaning of all related equipment. The ability to “think on your feet”, communicate, with, build rapport and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers is essential as is the desire to making the most of the personal and professional development opportunities we offer. About You At Infin8care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so you DO NOT need experience in the aged care sector, however it is essential that you have a resident / customer focus, and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike.
