As a Feature Lead in our team, you will take part in end-to-end solution delivery. You’ll design and build clean, efficient, robust and reliable solutions that deliver to our customers and our payments future state. You will also share responsibility towards improving quality, modernising our stack, continuous delivery, production support. Your day-to-day tasks will include planning and feature project management as well. What role will you play? Planning and delivery of feature solution by breaking into smaller tasks and deliverables. Solution discovery and design. Leading the team of developers. Making technical decisions considering business and platform impact. Working closely with delivery manager to resolve external dependencies and communication. Enforce platform technical standards and help everyone in the team to achieve the best outcome. Participating in checkpoints with stakeholders, presenting demos. Knowledge sharing within broader team about feature and learnings. Feature delivery checkpoints: stand-ups, Jira tickets board maintenance. Coding, code review, testing. Driving the solution delivery, resolving issues and blockers. Presenting team during broader discussion with business and other teams. What you offer An agile mindset and a desire to deliver and ship changes at pace. 4 years of experience as a software engineer or delivery lead preferably in banking or payments industry. Strong sense of ownership for production, it’s our 1 feature. Strong knowledge of microservice best practices. Java 11, Reactive Java Appreciate event driven solutions using microservices architectures covering batch, real-time, synchronous, and asynchronous patterns.
