Excellent contract for Salesforce Consultant / Devops Engineer / Platform Administrator with strong Salesforce and CI/CD pipeline scripts expertise Salesforce Devops Engineer is a hands-on role to execute the Releases and Salesforce Deployments. You will also be responsible for CI/CD pipeline scripting, troubleshooting pipeline issues, automation scripts, sql server reporting and code reviews. We are looking for someone with solid Devops background deploying Salesforce applications. The role reports to the Release and Environment manager, therefore you must have hands-on skills. Responsibilities: Execute releases and manage Salesforce deployments using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, SFDX, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, and Jenkins. Script and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines for efficient deployment processes. Develop and maintain automation scripts, ensuring a reliable and streamlined DevOps pipeline. Maintain the Salesforce platform ecosystem, including the backup and reporting SQL Server database. Debug Salesforce-based solutions using Apex programming language, Lightning Web Components, and integration technologies (RestAPI, SOAP, Platform Event). Conduct code reviews, engage in peer programming, and adhere to best practices in Salesforce development. Resolve deployment issues and test class failures by performing debugging tasks and identifying root causes. Selection Criteria: Demonstrated experience administering the Salesforce Platform, utilizing existing CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, SFDX, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.). Extensive experience in Salesforce deployment, understanding component structure, and resolving deployment issues. Proficient in Salesforce development best practices, design patterns, and effective platform management is desirable Familiarity with agile development methodologies in a government setting, including cloud services configuration (EC2, Storage, CDN, DNS, Lambda Function, etc.). Experience with Jira, Confluence, source control systems, and continuous delivery tools. SELECTION CRITERIA: Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Mathematics, Computer Systems, or equivalent experience 4 years’ experience in Salesforce DevOps environment Solid and proven experience with CI/CD pipelines & script enhancements in the DevOps environment is a must have skill Experience operating in an environment supporting management, development and testing all at the same time DevOps in a Salesforce environment (Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Vlocity, SFDMU, SF CLI) with various integrations. Hand-on experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce using Azure DevOps Experience in working on DevSecOps capability with Static Code Analyzer / PMD and the implementation of security patterns and standards.
