About the Centre/Service Hunt Community Childcare Centre is a beautiful, 47 place long day care setting catering for children aged from 9 months to 5 years. We are a not for profit, community owned centre that has been operating for over 30 years and are managed by a volunteer parent Committee of Management who collaborate with and support the management team to ensure the successful running of the centre. We have a wonderful team of qualified educators who teach across our 3 rooms, many whom have been with us for a number of years. We also have large, dedicated outdoor areas for our children to play and explore, with a strong focus on natural elements. We follow the Reggio Emilia approach, focusing on learning through play, valuing it as one of the main ways in which children learn and develop.
