Job Description This role is a national position, welcoming applicants from any city in Australia that hosts a KPMG office. Your Opportunity As a member of the SAP Practice in KPMG , the SAP Sales and Distribution Specialist will play a crucial role by: Being accountable for the overall design of the SAP Sales and Distribution and Customer Experience solutions for both business development and project delivery purposes. Delivering customer facing presentations and workshops and building excellent relationships with all stakeholders in a project and within KPMG and their team. Working with external clients to design the required SAP solution, inclusive of SAP modules/components, licenses, infrastructure etc. Developing the KPMG process roadmap for SAP functional areas aligned to SAP best practice processes, specifically related to future developments/platform changes. Leading the design reviews of functional configuration/builds during the Design/Explore phases of a delivery/sales cycle. Providing overall quality assurance for solution design of SAP systems for both business development and project delivery, specifically relating to Sales and Distribution Acting as the solution architect for SAP Sales and Distribution Facilitating client workshops and provide insights into both SAP Best Practice and Industry Best Practice. Your Experience For consideration in this opportunity, we would expect candidates to possess the following suite of qualifications, skills, and experience: Proficient in designing SAP's Sales and Distribution (SD) functionalities, with a history of success in this domain. Demonstrable depth of functional expertise with a proven record in strategic planning and implementation within at least two sectors, such as: Utilities, encompassing both retail and wholesale dimensions The mining industry Retail operations A requirement for candidates is engagement in at least two entire SAP project cycles — covering both the preparatory and operational stages — or a background of equivalent scope and impact. Proven abilities in tailoring SAP's Order to Cash process, including, but not limited to, Customer Management, Order Management, Pricing Procedures, Warehouse Processes, and management of Rebates and Billing. An active role in supporting data migration, stress-testing the overall SD architecture, as well as conducting training sessions for end-users. Familiarity with the integration of SAP SD with other pivotal modules such as Materials Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), Finance/Controlling (FI/CO), and Project Systems (PS). Experience leveraging SAP Activate to adhere to and enhance project best practises, policies, procedures, and process excellence.
