The Opportunity This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to create a work-life pattern that works for your situation. You can choose to complete 20 hours in either three, four or five days as you wish. Working as part of a collaborative HR & Payroll team, the primary purpose of this value adding role is to perform end to end payroll in a diverse project delivery environment. Your duties will include: End to end payroll processing for approx. 700 employees (fortnightly and monthly payrolls) accurately and on time Month end reconciliation of superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and other deductions Managing new starter set ups, termination processes and leave approvals Responsible for responding to employee payroll queries with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring queries are addressed and closed out in a timely manner Follow system process standards and provide ad hoc support to other team members where required. We are looking for: Proven ability to focus on process with high attention to detail that delivers accurate payroll outcomes Ability to use initiative, challenge the status quo and maintain a high level of confidentiality In-depth excel skills Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain flexibility.
