The Opportunity KBR is looking for an enthusiastic experienced Senior hydraulic modeller to join our growing building services group in Adelaide. You must be capable of design modelling on a diverse range of Engineering and Construction projects. Under general supervision by discipline and project leads, As the successful candidate will complete detailed modelling of building and infrastructure hydraulic services, including potable water, waste water, sewer, natural gas, hot water generation and storm water. You will need to be required to demonstrate a commensurate level of technical understanding of hydraulic services discipline to assist in the efficient development of concept planning for projects and mentor less experienced personnel. Who are you? The Key Technical and Management Skill for this role: - Modelling of buildings and infrastructure projects using the Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD software packages. - works within project or engineering discipline based teams, both KBR and client, under the management of the team leader to contribute to and complete and/or implement designs as required, contributing to engineering projects; - manages and delivers allocated project work scope generally in the hydraulic discipline - completing work within negotiated standards of time, cost and quality; - working within Australian Standards, Regulations, KBR engineering and management procedures, or client procedures if applicable, and established industry practices; - A minimum of 7 years' experience using Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks software packages for electrical projects - A minimum of 5 years hydraulic modelling / drafting experience in buildings and infrastructure projects - Ability to manage diverse projects and associated teams to ensure projects are delivered with excellence - Experience in coordination of multi-disciplinary teams - Compliance with safety, environmental, and quality controls and relevant review and approval processes What we do KBR's Infrastructure Solutions Australia business offers a wide range of professional consulting services to private and public sector clients to deliver projects of any size in both urban and remote environments in transport, water, resources, energy, environment, buildings, defence infrastructure and program management consultancy.
