Your Opportunity As a member of the SAP Practice in KPMG, the SAP Logistics Specialist will play a crucial role by: Being accountable for the overall design of the SAP Logistics Execution (EWM) and/Either Transport Mgt Delivering customer facing presentations and workshops and building excellent relationships with all stakeholders in a project and within KPMG and their team. Working with external clients to design the required SAP solution, inclusive of SAP modules/components, licenses, infrastructure etc. Developing the KPMG process roadmap for SAP functional areas aligned to SAP best practice processes, specifically related to future developments/platform changes. Leading the design reviews of functional configuration/builds during the Design/Explore phases of a delivery/sales cycle. Providing overall quality assurance for solution design of SAP systems for both business development and project delivery, specifically relating to Logistics Execution and Transport Mgt Acting as SME for SAP Logistics Execution and transport mgt Facilitating client workshops and provide insights into both SAP Best Practice and Industry Best Practice. To potentially qualify for this role, we are seeking applicants with a robust portfolio of competencies, achievements, and experiences as follows: Extensive hands-on experience with configuring SAP Logistics Execution, including the nuances of Warehouse Management and Transport Management, in tandem with Project Systems, Finance/Costing, Inventory Management, and Procurement. Candidates should have a strong background in both ECC and S/4HANA platforms. A track record that includes participation in a minimum of two full life cycle SAP implementations, from the preparation to the execution phases—or equivalent comprehensive experience—is necessary. An in-depth understanding and practical involvement in planning and delivering projects within at least two of the sectors specified below are essential: Third-party logistics (3PL) The mining or agriculture industries The manufacturing sector, particularly within the chemical and pharmaceutical fields A sound grasp of the Logistics Execution processes, specifically those involving inventory management and Bill of Materials (BoM), is critical for this role. Candidates with these specified skill sets will be highly considered for this opportunity, characterised by an environment where extensive SAP experience and industry-specific knowledge are highly valued.
