We are looking for a passionate teacher that wants to make a difference to children's lives while feeling valued in a supportive team. Kindergarten Teacher $ 42.03 p/h Set hours Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm One dedicated planning day per week. Paid school holidays Total HRM has partnered with The Rural City of Wangaratta in search for their next Early Childhood Teacher. This full-time role allows the successful candidate to support and encourage the learning and development of the next generation. Work within a team that encourages collaboration to achieve team-focused goals. This role includes a set planning day each week, ensuring all your administration and planning tasks are completed in a timely manner. About the role: Deliver a high-quality educational program in consultation with the children and families to achieve agreed outcomes for the children Work collaboratively with other teachers to implement an educational program, underpinned by the Early Years Learning Framework Effectively manage the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing and providing feedback on student learning, and reporting to families/carers. You have the ability to put forward new creative ideas and work collaboratively with others Skills we are looking for: A bachelor’s degree in teaching (Early Childhood) and you must be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) (essential). You have relevant experience in a centre-based education and care (desirable) You have a passion for working with children and providing a safe educational environment You can implement relevant policies, standards and regulations into the program. You have strong organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to develop an appropriate service for 0 - 6 year old children.
