Our Opportunity To support our ongoing growth, NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Lead Engineer to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our design and manufacturing facility in Unanderra, NSW or closest NEPEAN office. Daily duties will typically include: Represent NEPEAN Conveyors while engaged by our customers on their sites for site engineering activities. Preliminary engineering design and layout works for conveyors systems. Complete detailed drawings, general arrangements, schematics and/or sketches when required. Deliver audit reports for conveyor systems and related structures against the appropriate Australian or ISO standards. Undertake audits of customers fixed and mobile plant as directed. The ideal candidate for this position would have: A bachelor’s degree or Diploma of Engineering in a mechanical discipline. Proven experience in heavy manufacturing, ideally in conveyor/crane design. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering and Drafting. Full Driver License (Class C) Conveyor experience Proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD and Inventor and Vault.
