About the Role We are currently looking for a team of Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants. We offer flexible 24/7 shifts and competitive pay according to the SCHADS Award. Your responsibilities will include: Personalised Care: Develop and implement individualised care plans based on the unique needs and aspirations of each client. Empowerment: Foster independence and skill development to enhance clients' autonomy and confidence. Daily Living Assistance: Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household activities. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, their families, and other members of the support team. Community Integration: Support clients in participating in community activities, social events, and recreational pursuits. Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and choices of individuals with disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. About You: You are passionate about supporting participants to maintain independent living. You have completed a Certificate 3 or higher in Disability, Aged Care, or other relevant courses. You have previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably within an accommodation setting. You have transferable skills, experience and passion to support people in our communities live full and happy lives. Requirements To apply for this role, you must have or be willing to obtain: Current Working with Children Check. NDIS Worker Clearance and Blue Card. Current police check conducted within the last 6 months. Valid Australian driver's license (with a reliable and comprehensively insured car). Current first aid and CPR certificates.
