The Role As a key team member, you will be responsible for leading a marine construction and floating plant crew. Reporting to the Construction Supervisor, this on-site role requires hands-on leadership of a team of up to 6 individuals. This position is residential and would suit a Gladstone local whom is seeking a Full-Time position. SRG Global manage and deliver complex marine infrastructure projects from design and construction through to commissioning, including jetties, wharves, bulk loading facilities, dredging, reclamation, navigation aids, marinas, and underwater pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Lead, implement, and supervise daily operations on-site with a hands-on approach Maintain a strong focus on a safe work culture and processes Manage and mentor construction crews, including rostering and on-site training Prioritise tasks and allocate resources efficiently Work to project timelines and targets Oversee subcontractor activities Complete necessary site documentation and reports Conduct site work-group meetings, including SWMS, pre-start, and toolbox talks Ensure the integrity and safety of the site Provide site inductions for team members, contractors, and visitors Manage and maintain allocated site vessels, plant, and equipment Control site expenditure effectively Manage risks and activities in compliance with quality, WHS, and environmental standards The successful applicant will ideally have: Strong leadership skills & ability to lead by example Construction trade qualification (e.g. carpentry) Good organisational & communication skills Self-motivated, hard-working, punctual, and reliable Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel) Current Driver's License Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening Flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances and priorities About Us SRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
