Social Worker Grade 1 Full time rotational Social Work role Fixed term for 12 months as new graduate OR ongoing role for experienced grade 1 Social Worker Be part of the rotational Grade 1 program Fantastic opportunity to join our collaborative and friendly team This position will provide the successful applicant with opportunities to gain early career experience working in a well-supported multi-disciplinary team environment. The Social Work team consists of over 50 staff members who work across the City and Royal Park Campuses in acute, sub-acute and community based services across a range of specialties. We enjoy a collaborative and supportive working environment with the Grade 1 roles rotating yearly to maximise clinical exposure and professional development. Your new role: Make a difference to the lives of the patients you meet through psychosocial assessments and provision of Social Work clinical interventions You will help us achieve excellence in patient care across the continuum of acute to community care In return, you will be supported by your Social Work and Multidisciplinary team colleagues, Social Work Team Leaders, Clinical Lead and Managers About you: You are looking to expand your Social Work skills and work with a dynamic professional team You have qualifications which are acceptable for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers You demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and in co-operation with others You have clinical skills and experience in comprehensive assessment, counselling and discharge planning You demonstrate understanding of Social Work theories and their application to clinical practice Benefit of working with the Royal Melbourne Hospital: Supportive team with opportunities for career progression and varied clinical exposure Close proximity to excellent cafes and eateries and the University of Melbourne You will enjoy excellent work-life balance.
