Your role at St John of God Berwick Hospital To deliver an exceptional customer experience via outstanding café- service provision at the café. This includes customer service, processing transactions, utilising your barista capabilities, assisting with food preparation and delivery and ensuring the café is clean and tidy at all times. The Position Advise customers on our food and beverage offer. Maintain a presence on the floor to be available to assist customers. Ensure front of house display cabinets are stocked with product correctly to monitor stock rotation. Report maintenance issues Ensure coffee workstation is well stocked at all times. Adhere to work health and safety and policies. Ensure up to date knowledge on food safety. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene as per policy and wearing of staff uniform provided whilst on duty. Committed to maintain a clean kitchen and work area by taking part in cleaning activities and using cleaning schedules. Food Safety documentation is completed in a timely manner as per Food safety plan. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising appropriate formal and informal channels of communication. Participate as a valued team member promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment. To succeed you will have demonstrated Barista and hospitality experience, a sound understanding of Health & Food Safety requirements, food preparation and a understanding of infection control principals as they relate to the food services industry. We can offer you Salary: $49,812.38 to $51,848.45, plus 11% superannuation A casual position available Must be available for a range of shifts (morning and afternoon) across a 7-day roster.
