Our Digital Experience team is now seeking a Product Designer - Design System to join their team. Please note we are keen to hear from candidates in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney. If you want to play a part in the future of digital retailing at Coles, then do apply now As a Product Designer, you will work closely with a Senior Product Designer to create and evolve high-quality libraries, assets and documentation. You'll be passionate about enhancing the internal user experience for our designers and engineers, enabling the seamless delivery of quality, accessible customer-facing experiences. You will Build, maintain and refactor Figma components and libraries, while creating comprehensive documentation. Collaborate proactively with product designers and engineers across web and native platforms. Take a user-led approach to improve and grow our design operations. Utilize user flows, journey maps, workshops, and user tests to design and deliver assets and processes that enhance our design practice. Align design output with the Coles Customer Experience Strategy, Business Strategy, and Digital Strategy. Work closely with design and technology delivery teams to ensure desirable, feasible, and viable experiences. Foster a culture of collaboration with product and engineering teams. Support Managers in building the user experience design capability within the Design and Digital Experience team You'll need Extensive experience as a Product Designer, delivering in cross-functional product teams and collaborating closely with engineers to build and deliver UI and digital experiences. Strong experience in designing for websites and apps, with a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design. Experience contributing to or working with an established design system. Solid understanding of digital accessibility and designing inclusive experiences. Experience supporting digital channels for large, complex organisations, requiring stakeholder management. Ability to create rapid, low-fi through to high-fi prototypes and iterate. Proficient in communicating and rationalising design decisions alongside feasibility. Skilled in translating business processes and customer behaviours and insights into design concepts. Experience working in a digital-first organisation with a strong customer-centric focus. Highly collaborative style, able to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to meet targets.
