About the role South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a motivated Administrative Support Officer (ASO) to support the operation and successful functioning of our regional Pharmacy Department. The pharmacy's ASO is the public face of the pharmacy team and critical for interacting with wider hospital staff and the general public. The SWH pharmacy team includes around 30 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians (made up of mix of full and part time) working at a number of sites at SWH Warrnambool and Camperdown. The department is responsible for ensuring medication supplies and clinical services for SWH in Warrnambool, Camperdown and the wider region. The ASO helps support this larger team to achieve many of our competing priorities, manage various different reporting requirements and execute admin tasks such as managing office supplies and maintaining internal systems and processes. Position Overview Permanent, Full Time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO What you bring As the successful applicant you will: Have experience and skills in administrative office management, effective communication, documentation presentation, problem solving and computer skills. Have demonstrated ability in taking a proactive approach, utilising your own initiative, and working through processes with minimal direction and supervision with ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Deal with external organisations and staff in a professional manner and understanding work priorities and meeting deadlines is also essential for the role. Have previous healthcare or pharmacy experience (this is desirable but not essential).
