Our client, a multinational market leader, that develops, manufactures and markets high-quality polymeric compounds and adhesives to the construction, building, retail hardware and B2B industries are requiring an experienced professional to join their team leading the Maintenance team and daily/weekly duties. Management of all maintenance services across the manufacturing plant including PLC machinery, labellers, pneumatic equipment, mixer pumps, etc Identify and manage asset reliability risks and embedding best practice to ensure optimal plant operations and performance. Drive team engagement and continuous improvement opportunities. Lead and develop the maintenance strategies and team within the plant, ensuring KPI’s around; OEE, machine reliability, uptime, stoppages and OH&S are adhered to. Plan, schedule and manage preventative maintenance and shutdowns Conduct gap analysis and implement continuous improvement strategy Define, develop, negotiate and deliver building and facilities maintenance contracts. Recruit, coach, develop maintenance team and manage contractors workforce as required Lead and assist on engineering projects In order to be successful in this role, you will be: Bachelor of Engineering or Trade Qualification (Mechanical or Electrical) with leadership experience of a maintenance team. Experience working within fast paced manufacturing sector, such as within the food, beverage, packaging or building products space. Experience working across PLC machinery, labellers, pneumatic equipment, mixer pumps, etc highly desirable Extensive experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies to bring about a proactive and preventative maintenance culture.
