Hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for scaling growing platform. Our client has recently launched a new online marketplace that is experiencing rapid growth. Their engineering team is seeking a skilled AWS Engineer to join their mission by scaling up the platform and expanding its capabilities. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong software development background and extensive experience working with AWS. They should have a proven track record of building robust, secure, and highly scalable solutions, preferably in the ecommerce domain. Key requirements for this role include: Hands-on experience building serverless solutions using Lambda and related technologies. Strong proficiency in building and scaling database solutions using DynamoDB, Aurora, and/or RDS. Solid understanding of messaging technologies like SQS, SNS, and Kinesis. In-depth knowledge of core AWS concepts and services. Experience developing enterprise-level applications using Node.js and Typescript. Familiarity with core DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. Additionally, the following skills would be advantageous: Building and configuring search solutions using Elasticsearch and/or Opensearch. Developing ecommerce solutions, including cart/payment processing, personalization, and loyalty programs. Applying best practices for building robust and secure solutions.
