This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the finance strategy and annual plan for Quaker Perth, overseeing the day-to-day functions of Finance, IT, and Administration. Ensures strict adherence to PepsiCo Policies, local regulations, and serves as the custodian of the Transfer Pricing mechanism for the APAC Oats Strategy. Manages the Site Capex Budget for Quaker Perth and collaborates closely with the Supply Chain team to position Quaker Perth as the APAC source for Flaked Oats, serving markets such as China, Asia Pacific, India, and other affiliates. Provides guidance to the local management team and interfaces with PepsiCo BU's and the APAC Sector. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Direct and supervise accounting functions, reviewing financial data during month- and year-end close, and ensuring accurate submission of reports to management. Review and maintain compliance with local and US GAAP accounting standards, including submission of tax filings. Conduct quarterly Balance Sheet Reviews, present financial reports to the Quaker Management team, and coordinate with external auditors. Develop and monitor internal control systems, ensuring compliance and efficiency within the Global Control Standard framework. Supervise transaction accounting systems, participate in policy development, and coordinate Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plans. Prepare and submit rolling forecasts, quarterly forecasts, and financial evaluations for capital expenditure proposals. Approve Capital Appropriation Requests, ensuring thorough reviews at the site level. Manage cash flow, creditors, debtors, and oversee fixed asset management in accordance with PepsiCo policies. Manage site security and surveillance systems, coordinate IT business services, and support various initiatives including cybersecurity projects. Qualifications About you: Commerce degree with CPA/CA qualification. 8 years accounting/financial experience, including 5 years in manufacturing (preferably FMCG). Excellent communication skills for collaboration with various staff levels. Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize tasks effectively. People management, strategic thinking, and target-oriented focus. Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and dedicated to continuous improvement.
