You will be the key point of contact for staff members located within the MD Learning Hub.This position is based at the MD Learning Hub, St Lucia and reports to the Senior Manager, Greater Brisbane Clinical School.This role may require some out of hours work and travel to other UQ sites.Key responsibilities will include:Support the Head, MD Learning Hub to ensure effective management of teaching and assessment for the MD program. Support a small professional staff team by providing leadership and supervision.Supervise, contribute to, and actively promote a high standard of performance and a culture of continuous improvement for professional staff within the MD Learning Hub.Consults with internal and external stakeholders and support relationships and engagement activities to optimise the quality of non-clinical learning experiences in Year 1 and 2 of the MD program.In conjunction with relevant academic staff, develop, implement, administer and maintain efficient and effective recruitment, induction and payroll management of casual academic staff, including overseeing the Casual Academic Hire Program for the Greater Brisbane Clinical School.This is a full-time (100%), continuing position.At HEW level 6, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $84,871 - $91,158, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $99,300 - $106,655 annually.About You ​Applicants should possess a degree in a relevant area with subsequent relevant experience; or relevant experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training. Additionally, you will demonstrate:A degree with subsequent relevant experience with at least two years administrative experience in an education institution or similar environment, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/trainingDemonstrated skills in providing a high level of customer service, including excellent interpersonal skills.A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and demonstrated skills in the use of SI-net, Business Objects, CRM, Syllabus Plus, CAHP and other tools related to student and academic administration.Demonstrated office management and supervisory skills and capabilities.Demonstrated ability to understand and apply a range of rules, policies and processes with regard to the University's regulatory and legislative context.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated skills in project coordination, for example effectively introducing a new system or practice into the workplace.Highly effective organisational, time management and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of university student and academic administrative systems, policies and procedures or the capacity to rapidly acquire this knowledge.In addition, the following mandatory requirements apply:Work Rights: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply.
