We are searching for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher (VIT registered) for a role with a beautiful, exceeding rated private kindergarten in the beautiful bayside suburb of Cheltenham. About the role/service: If you are an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic ECT, please read on From the moment you step into the private kindergarten, you will be overwhelmed with all the space and effort that has gone into creating such a stunning service. The highly reputable and established early years service has achieved exceeding in all seven elements for multiple assessments and ratings. In this role, as ECT, you will support the Educational Leader/Nominated Supervisor in using your finely tuned skills to document, observe and record children's learning. You will assist with developing exciting programs and help the group of 22 in their quest to be school-ready The Kinder has a large indoor area and a private outdoor natural yard. We foster and strongly encourage community participation and engagement, teamwork, a sense of agency, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict resolution skills, independence, self-love and opportunities for learning through the varied and challenging curriculum. Our wellbeing curriculum includes Yoga, dance, Positive Affirmations, Bucket Filling , Relaxation and Meditation. Specialist teachers deliver music and Movement and Computer Gym classes each week. Across the road, you will also have access to the stunning two-level staff retreat The retreat has a full kitchen, lounge area with couches and a library, separate offices for your programming time, a gym with cardio and strength machines, and a whole floor dedicated to learning resources About you VIT Registration (provisional is okay; we have mentors available to support this) A warm and welcoming disposition Sound knowledge of the NQF, regulations and early learning frameworks. Observe, plan and implement an inquiry-based curriculum approach A confident communicator who is team-orientated. Working with children check (Requirement) Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management (Requirement) Able to work a variety of shifts from 7 am to 6 pm.
