The Trade Sales Associate primarily assists customers, conducts sales transactions, and ensures the secure movement of products within the yard, store, or warehouse. They play a key role in surpassing service delivery expectations for customers and welcome newcomers to the industry, although prior experience is valued. Key Responsibilities: Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service. Collaborate with the team for branch success and outstanding customer support. Coordinate with other departments and locations to fulfill customer orders. Accurately complete work orders and receiving documents. Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for sales transactions. Expand product knowledge continuously. Aid in maintaining warehouse equipment. Operate a forklift proficiently. Manage yard stock rotation. Handle material tasks like counting, weighing, sorting, loading, and unloading. Handle inbound material receiving and allocation. Load vehicles accurately for outgoing deliveries. Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors when they're low. Report any stock damage or loss promptly. Skills and Qualifications: Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities independently. Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills. Experience with building materials is preferred. Forklift experience is highly advantageous. Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math functions.
