About the role Based primarily at the Splashdown Centre, you will be responsible for leading customer-facing staff and ensuring day to day operations are running smoothly. You will play an integral role in the development and delivery of Reception, Sales and Customer Service activities at the centre, and ensure that customers are experiencing excellent service in a clean and safe environment. Work type: Permanent Full-Time Classification: Band 5 $76,355 - $86,617 (plus super) Key responsibilities include: Lead the development, coordination and evaluation of Reception, Sales and Customer Service activities undertaken by the department. Be responsible for the planning and delivery of project-based tasks in relation to Reception, Sales and Customer Service programs. Lead, support and educate the customer service team through continuous improvement and change processes Work closely with the leadership team to ensure day-to-day operations of the centre are running effectively and as smoothly as possible. Form an integral part of our customer facing, direct service team in reception & Duty Manager capacities. About you To be successful in this role, you will have a commitment of excellence in customer service and the ability to lead a team. You will have tertiary qualification relevant to the recreation service delivery, or relevant experience in a related field. Essential: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse group of staff and clients. Strong motivation to drive membership growth and retention through customer service excellence & a customer focused mindset. The ability to work opening and closing shifts when on direct service. Strong conflict management skills. Level 2 First Aid Certificate. Current Working with Children’s Check. Current Victoria drivers’ licence.
