Job Title: Network Administrator Location: Charles Street Parramatta/Dawn Fraser Ave Sydney Olympic Park Type: 12-Month Contract As a Network Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice and support for network matters related to the client's projects and users. Environment: Network spanning over 500 sites, serving more than 22,000 users, utilizing Cisco and Aruba equipment, and supporting various applications, including specialized front-line applications and voice services. Responsibilities: Assess project and user network requirements, providing fit-for-purpose solutions, including carrier services. Issue client standards-based cabling specifications and network equipment/service-related cost estimates. Provide technical advice and support on networks for projects, including on-site equipment installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and network documentation. Offer network operational support, handling incidents, monitoring networks, troubleshooting, configuring, and implementing changes to minimize downtime. Implement client policies, standards, and guidelines. Provide remote network support to users and other teams within the organization. Office-based work during normal business hours with on-call support after hours and occasional travel to remote sites. Selection Criteria: Experience in a similar role providing network support for Cisco, Aruba network products, and Teleconference/AV systems. Detailed knowledge and experience across a range of Network devices, including configuration, installation, and troubleshooting. Experience with Aruba wireless networks and products, such as controllers and access points. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Must have an NSW Driver's license. Must be eligible to apply for a security clearance.
