The Role We are looking for Lifestyle Officers on a casual basis who are passionate about a person-centred approach to care, to join our 60-bed facility in Maryborough, QLD. The primary purpose of a Lifestyle Officer is to support residents to live well through the provision of spiritual care, including pastoral, emotional, and psychological support. What you will do The Lifestyle Officer is responsible for: Liasing and working collaboratively with the Care Team and volunteers to provide holistic care aligned to individual needs of our residents Social support assessments and developing care plans Delivering care services to individuals based on their care plan Nurturing residents hobbies and interests Manage Leisure and lifestyle activities Conduct group activities that address mental, physical, spiritual, psychological and emotional needs. What you will bring At least 1 year experience in a similar role Cert 3 or 4 in Leisure and Health or similar Please note - Covid Vaccinations are NO longer a requirement Hold and maintain a NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills Interested?
