The Role :An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team in Hallam as a Hardware Technician This is a varied role supporting our Assets Team repairing and testing our digital screens as well as pick/packing duties and some stock control. In addition you will;Repair, set up and configure computer hardware, modems, screens, cabinets, etcHardware and electronics assembly, testing and basic repairsPrepare order for delivery or pickup according to schedule (note; requires load, unload, pick, pack, wrap, label, ship and some heavy lifting)Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisationLiaise with internal warehouse team as well as other internal departmentsFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulationsBased within our Hallam warehouse you’ll work Monday – Friday , in a close knit, experienced team. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry, whilst being nurtured and supported by your team and manager.The Experience:You’ll have experience in hardware repairs and testing (including knowledge of basic computer hardware and software – MS Windows OS) as well as experience in pick packing fragile/electronics equipment packaging. You will also:Be comfortable using basic hand tools such as manual and electric screwdriversForklift licence preferred but not essentialWork well in a fast paced environment and be able to prioritise your tasks effectively.Be an excellent communicator with good attention to detailIntermediate MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PPT) is required.Have exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines.A dedicated team player who thrives on pro-activity and is enthusiastic with a can-do attitudeOur Benefits: You flex – We are all different and we recognise that.
