About the role In this role, you will gain experience working in a large organisation that supports the local community. These 12-month traineeships in either business administration, information technology, early childhood or horticulture provide an opportunity for personal and professional growth, by nurturing and developing your skills to support your career path in an area of your interest. These traineeships are designated roles for First Nations people, which are designed to help eliminate inequalities for groups that may experience significant disadvantage when it comes to employment. Key responsibilities include: Assist in undertaking tasks to support your team that develop skills in accountability, digital literacy, communication and/or organisation. Follow all reasonable directions given by the Team Leader and other more senior staff in accordance with operational requirements to a regular or modified instruction as required. Participate in team meetings and display values of a team member. Attend the course training and undertake the study required for your course and develop skills in self-management, accountability, and proactive learning. You will be committed to the learning outcomes of the traineeship which will see you obtain a qualification in an area of your interest.
