About the Role Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Operations team in this newly created role. Reporting to our Chief Operations Officer this role will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions, and understanding the complexities of the design and methodologies of projects. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Lead the technical production of engineering design and drafting Manage the project with specified scope within budget, acceptable quality and on time delivery Manage the conduct of Engineering and Technical analysis for desired reliability, maintainability, availability, safety, and cost-effectiveness outcomes Ensure all appropriate standards and regulations are met with practical risk mitigation strategies Ensure all work is of a high standard and compliant with quality control frameworks. Guide and mentor engineers in across all projects Collaborate with other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for the business. About You As the Engineering Manager, you will hold engineering qualifications (electrical preferred). In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following: Have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role managing complex, high value projects within the construction industry. Extensive experience in the coordination, review, and completion of engineering design within the construction industry Strong technical understanding and experience in an EPC or contractor environment Strong commercial acumen and project management skills Well-developed analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal Advanced level proficiency in relevant computer software and design systems How to Apply To apply for this opportunity, please submit your application, including detailed CV and covering letter, via the Apply button.
