Experienced Practice Manager, NFP Organisation, Level 7 - SCHADS Award, Ipswich location. An excellent opportunity currently exists with a Ipswich-based Employer of Choice in the Not-for-Profit sector for a full-time, Practice Manager (Legal). As a senior leader, the Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing vital client-focused functions within the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role plays a crucial part in managing client intake, volunteer coordination, client engagement, reception services, and cultivating a positive organizational culture. Main duties and responsibilities of the role are: Management of Client Intake Oversight of Client Engagement & Reception Volunteer Coordination and Supervision Ensuring Practice Standards and Client Impact Leadership in Fostering a Positive Culture and Managing Teams Cultivating Organisational Relationships To be considered for this position, it is essential that you showcase proficiency in the following skills, knowledge, and/or abilities: Ability to anticipate, understand and adapt to client needs and take appropriate action by utilising analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving tools and techniques to determine the root cause of issues Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to new and changing situations and meet deadlines Demonstrated time management, planning and judgement skills in order to organise own work and achieve set and agreed performance standards Ability to follow policies and procedures with a strong focus on quality control and continuous improvement Demonstrated well developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders in a professional manner Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role Experience and Qualifications - The following items are essential to work in this position. Hold or be immediately eligible to obtain a Positive Notice for Working with Children and receive a positive notice from Disability Services Queensland based on mandatory criminal history screening. Completion of a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with extensive work experience in Social Work, Law, Management, or a related discipline. Alternatively, demonstrate equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
