Assisatant Bar Manager - Williamstown The Company Our client is looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor or Assistant Bar Manager to join their busy beach side venue in Williamstown Working closely with the Venue Manager and Assisatnt Venue Manager, you will become a part of a multi-faceted venue that offers amazing support and training. You'll have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art equipment and assist in ensuring smooth operations of their 2 bars along with assisisting in the food and beverage team. The Role The ideal candidate will have supervisory or management experience, stable work history and proven track record in supervising teams, achieving performance targets, and developing team members. You will have the ability to create unique cocktails, have solid wine knowledge and be able to work behind a high volume bar. Key Skills Recent experience as a bar supervisor or assisatnt manager in a high volume restaurant - preferable Exceptional knowledge of cocktails, spirits and craft beers Motivation to work in a restaurant setting and engage in various aspects of the restaurants operations such as purchasing, stock ordering, wastage and stock takes Running a small bar team to deliver efficient and high-quality beverage service Controlling stock aspects relevant to the bar operation Working with the rest of the venues management team to ensure a seamless all round restaurant operation What's in it for you?
