Our client, a busy multi-faceted town based public sector office is seeking two dynamic and experienced individuals to fill these vacancies;Safety Officer (Mining)Mining Engineering (Safety)An advantage for both positions would be experience and skills in investigations, management emerging issues, changes and projects.The successful candidates would ideally reside in Kalgoorlie and will need to provide a current National Police Clearance and a copy of a current WA C or C-A drivers licence or equivalent.The Safety Officer role requires a Bachelor of Science or other approved Bachelor degree in a relevant occupational health and safety discipline relevant to the resources industry. Qualifications in training in occupational hygiene, noise, environmental health, radiation, ventilation qualification or training in risk management or a related discipline.The Mining Engineering (Safety) role requires a tertiary vocation or trade qualification in a mechanical disciple relevant to the resources sector.
